Central Scheduler Insurance Verification



As part of the revenue cycle team, the Central Scheduler is responsible for gathering all demographic and insurance information at the time of the scheduled appointment. This includes accurate test selection, coordinating the patient needs with Financial Counselors, Insurance Versifiers, and referring clinics, patient preps for exams and pre-registration for the visit.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must meet the requirements for employment with the Hospital as outlined under General Job Requirements.

Job Specific Qualifications


High School graduate.

Compliant with PPD requirements.

Licensure//Registration: None

Experience: Preferably two (2) years of typing; some computer experience desired. Minimum 2 years in a healthcare related field.
