Office Associate - Health Care & Family Services


Under the direction of the Division Director, Division of Family and Community Services (DFCS), Department of Human Services, performs a variety of specialized clerical support, switchboard operations, typing, record processing and provides information/assistance to the general public.

Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of high school and two years of office experience. Requires extensive knowledge of office practices, procedures and programs. Requires extensive knowledge of composition, grammar, spelling and punctuation. Requires working knowledge of basic mathematics. Requires elementary knowledge of Agency problems, rules and regulations. Requires ability to follow oral and/or written instructions. Requires ability to operate commonly used manual and automated office equipment and perform routine maintenance. Requires ability to accurately type 45 wpm.
