OPEN POSITIONS

Training will begin in late August, ahead of our new store opening in early September.

LEVEL II

Positions require high degree of professional skills with individual accountability for specific results, handling of confidential information and/or supervisory responsibilities (hiring, evaluating, corrective action of a small team.) Pay range: $14-20/hour.

Kitchen Supervisor: (One, FT) Coordinate kitchen operations to prepare attractive, healthy and delicious foods that adhere to the Co-op’s image and product guidelines, to help meet department goals for sales, margin, labor and customer service.
Counter Service Supervisor: (One, FT) Manage counter service to meet goals for sales, labor expense, food presentation and customer service.
Lead Cashiers: (Four, FT/PT) Handle the sales of goods to customers in a friendly, efficient and accurate manner. To serve as Person in Charge and support Front End Manager in owner services and facilities security and maintenance.
Wellness Lead: (One, FT) Select, purchase, price and promote products and to supervise receiving and stocking by wellness department staff.
Grocery Bulk Lead: (One, PT) Select, purchase, price and promote dry grocery and bulk items, and to assist with receiving as needed.
Grocery Perishables Lead: (One, FT) Select, purchase, price and promote grocery perishable and frozen items, and to assist with receiving as needed.
Beer & Wine Lead: (One, PT) Select, purchase, price and promote beer & wine items
Cheese Buyer: (One, FT) Select, purchase, price and promote a cut-to-order and pre-wrapped cheese section in the service deli, and to assist at the deli counter as needed.
Meat Buyer: (One, FT) Select, purchase, price and promote a fresh meat and seafood section, and to assist at the deli counter as needed.

LEVEL III

Positions require some retail (or other direct customer service) experience. Limited individual accountability for specific financial results, no supervisory responsibility. Pay range: $12–16/hr.

Store Clerks, Front End: (Six, FT/PT): Handle the sales of goods to customers in a friendly, efficient and accurate manner. To receive deliveries, stock shelves, and maintain cleanliness of the co-op.
Store Clerks, Center Store: (Five, FT/PT) Receive and stock all center store departments, ensuring a clean, attractive, well-organized shopping experience.
Wellness Clerks: (Two, PT) Receive and stock wellness departments, ensuring a clean, attractive, well-organized shopping experience. Answer customer questions about wellness products
Accounts Payable Clerk: (One, PT) Ensure all co-op finances are recorded and tracked accurately and efficiently, serving as the first point of contact for most financial matters, particularly Accounts Payable.
Cooks: (Five, FT/PT) Prepare attractive, healthy dishes for natural foods deli
Counter Service Staff: (Five, FT/PT) Serve and prepare to order fresh, high quality food and provide prompt, friendly, helpful customer service
Produce Stockers: (Two, PT) Assist the Produce Manager in stocking, maintaining and receiving for the produce department.
Produce Assistant: (One, FT) Assist the Produce Manager in purchasing, stocking, receiving and maintaining the produce department.
