Under direction, performs a variety of complex, specialized clerical support services for licensing operations, including case file maintenance, typing, records processing, and other office support functions; exercises independent judgment and a command of legal, social, and medical terminology to review documents.

Requires knowledge, skill, and mental development equivalent to completion of high school and two years of office experience; requires ability to type accurately at 45 wpm; requires a working knowledge of legal, social, and medical terminology; requires extensive knowledge of office practices, procedures, and programs; requires knowledge of composition, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
